Personal Statement :

I understand there is much loss and suffering in our world. If you're on this website, maybe you're anxious about money, depressed about your career or confused about an important relationship. I, too, have spent time in pain; and I know that there is a way out. I am grateful and very happy to be able to share what I have learned on the path.
My job starts with really listening to and "getting" you. I observe that much pain comes from our feeling unheard. Once you have experienced being heard, you can discover how to actually listen to yourself. Often we have learned to ask others what they believe or think about something before we even ask ourselves. Out of finding our own voice, we can re-define our goals and "remember" our dreams. And when that happens, you will know how to create your own best solutions, over and over again.
In our culture, we have the notion that change must take a long time and be hard: I question that "reality"! And I invite you to question other apparent "realities" that are limiting your being and having all that you wish.
I see this lifetime as a wonderful adventure, some say a journey. I believe we need to have more fun, be more generous, and emulate our children since they are filled with laughter and joy before they learn to become different.
It is time we mental health professionals help you create more lasting happiness!
